Here’s what I do

As the Senior staff writer for several of Republic’s mobile computing and mobile phone websites, I’m fortunate enough to play with the latest and greatest gadgets. This results in the opportunity to provide our readers with news, reviews and tutorials on what to buy and how to get the very best out of the latest feature-packed products.

I produce daily content for all of the websites above, scouring the internet for the latest stories and interacting with our readers to ensure we can provide what they want to read about. From topical news, to features and buyers’ guides, everything is covered.

My background

Starting off in magazine journalism, I’ve spent the past five years writing about anything and everything technology related. My career started off in mobile computing, moving onto mobile phones, and I’ve written for the majority of large tech publications and websites. Joining Republic, I’ve been able to combine my love of laptops and gadgets, and it’s turning out to be the perfect job.

Why I like working with Nokia

Working with Nokia has given me an access-all-areas pass to the smartphone world, with the ability to get my hands on some amazing gadgets before anybody else. Along with the chance to meet key people at Nokia, it really is the opportunity of a lifetime, and the fact I get to write about it makes it even better.

Why I like working with The Link

Mobile phones are a key passion of mine, with products developing at a faster rate than any other industry. It’s impossible to predict what lies around the corner in the smartphone market – but it sure is fun watching, and The Link gives me the opportunity to write about and see some amazing gadgets on a daily basis.

Why I like working with My-Laptop

It’s amazing to think that just a couple of years ago a computer meant a bulky monitor, keyboard, mouse and a heavy box with the components inside. Now, the majority of us equate computing with laptops, and it’s a pleasure to be involved in the laptop industry. One of the fastest moving industries, it’s always fun trying to spot the next big trend, and it’s all the better if we can help our readers to buy their perfect laptop on the way.
