Here’s what I do
As a writer for several of Republic’s technology websites – including the Gadget Show, Toshiba Life and Humans Invent – I’m fortunate enough to play with the latest and greatest gadgets. I write news, reviews, features and keep an eye on all the latest tech.
Stuff you need to know!
Biggest creative hero:
George McDonald Frasier
Most indispensable tool:
Gaffer tape, the tool of the Gods
Dogs or cats:
Definitely cats. They’re smarter
Favourite possession:
My silly plastic car
Dream project:
The ability to manage and edit a website for car enthusiasts, without leaving the good ship Republic
Something unusual about yourself:
I’m two inches shorter than I was in 2004
What did you want to be when you grew up:
A car designer. And then an artist. Eventually a product designer. Followed by the realisation that I no longer wanted to draw – in any way, shape or form – for a living
The one thing everyone should know how to make:
The bed
A word you just made up, and what does it mean:
Comedium. A comic medium. Informing you that your gran is alive and well (in the afterlife), and telling you some stonkingly rude jokes!
Something you want to do before you die:
Get a golf handicap of under 10. Or under 20. Or actually just a golf handicap
